2016年に東京・八丁堀で産声を上げた「ROAR COFFEE」。
レインボーラテアートを施したカフェラテを日本で最初に提供した、スペシャルティコーヒーをメインにしたコーヒー店。 世界各国から厳選した豆を自家焙煎。 焙煎から抽出までこだわり、ハンドドリップとエスプレッソマシンで、力強くインパクトのある一杯を提供。 テレビや雑誌、SNSなどでも、そのクオリティの高さと、リピートしたくなる多種多様なオリジナルコーヒーの数々、手ごろな価格設定が高評価を受け、オフィス街のど真ん中にありながら朝やお昼時には注文待ち受け取り待ちと、行列が途絶えない人気店となりました。
店名のROARとは、英語でライオンなどの猛獣が「ガオォー」と吠える事を意味します。 その店名の通り、力強くインパクトのあるコーヒーを提供しています。 ドリップコーヒーはハンドドリップで抽出。淹れたての素晴らしい香味を味わえます。 エスプレッソドリンクは常にダブルショットで提供しておりますので、しっかりしたコーヒー感と、ミルクの相乗効果を味わえます。
オープン当初は店内にて1ｋｇの焙煎機でコーヒー焙煎をしていましたが、数年後には需要に応えるために同じく東京八丁堀に「ロアーコーヒー872焙煎所」を構えました。
東京八丁堀のオフィス街で高評価をいただいているこの味をもっと世の中に広げたい。そんな思いから2023年に東京のど真ん中の銀座にも店舗を構えました。

「負けるものか」と植物が力を出すと言われていますが、
コーヒー生豆も同じで、標高が高く寒暖差が大きい場所で育ち、
コーヒーチェリーの種子の成熟期間が長いものほど良いとされています。
標高が高いことで平均気温も下がりますが、
その分、生豆の成長をゆっくりと促し栄養を蓄えさせることができるからです。
高地で栽培されたコーヒー豆の香味はとても華やかで、各農園のテロワールが分かりやすく香味に違いをもたらします。

ROAR COFFEE｜Tokyo Hatchobori & Ginza Specialty Coffee Roastery
Founded in 2016 in Hatchobori, Tokyo, ROAR COFFEE was the first café in Japan to serve a café latte with rainbow latte art. Specializing in specialty coffee, we carefully select beans from around the world and roast them in-house. From roasting to extraction, every step is handled with care to deliver a bold and impactful cup, whether through hand-drip or espresso.
Featured in television, magazines, and social media, our high-quality coffee, wide variety of original drinks, and reasonable prices have earned us high praise. Despite being located in the heart of a busy office district, long lines form during mornings and lunch hours as customers wait eagerly for their orders.
The name “ROAR” comes from the English word describing the powerful roar of a lion or other wild animal, reflecting our mission to provide strong and impactful coffee. Our drip coffee is brewed by hand, allowing customers to enjoy the freshly brewed aroma and flavor. All espresso drinks are served as double shots, ensuring a rich coffee taste balanced with milk.
At first, we roasted our beans in-store using a 1kg roaster, but as demand grew, we opened the ROAR COFFEE 872 Roastery in Hatchobori. In 2023, driven by our desire to share the flavors loved in Hatchobori’s office district with more people, we opened a second location in the heart of Tokyo’s Ginza.

About Our Coffee Beans
Coffee beans are agricultural products. Just like fruits and vegetables grown with greater temperature differences, coffee cherries also thrive under stress. Beans cultivated at high altitudes, where there are greater temperature fluctuations, mature more slowly, allowing them to store more nutrients.
The result is coffee with bright, complex aromas that highlight the unique terroir of each farm. At ROAR COFFEE, we cup countless beans grown at high elevations across the globe, selecting only the best, which we then roast using precise recipes tailored to each origin.

Free Shipping: Orders of ¥4,000 or more qualify for free shipping (delivered via Sagawa Express).
Standard Shipping: Orders under ¥4,000 are shipped via Letter Pack Light at a flat nationwide rate of ¥370 per package. Delivery is made directly to your mailbox, and specific delivery dates cannot be requested.
Capacity per shipment (Letter Pack Light):
Coffee beans only: Up to 2 bags per package.
Drip bags only: Up to 8 bags per package.
Mixed order (beans + drip bags): 1 bag of beans + up to 4 drip bags per package.
